When Brenna Eckert adopted her dog, Joule, she knew that she had to work hard to help her because she was suffering from anxiety. She even worked with a dog behaviorist to help Joule with some of her issues.

The thing is that Joule needs to be close to her owners all the time. But they have to go to work and this gets upset Joule, more than any dog, due to her anxiety.

But shortly after, Brenna adopted Kelvin, an orange tabby kitten, who has helped her a lot with Joule.

According to Brenna, from the beginning, Kelvin and Joule have gotten along well. However, later she discovered that their connection was stronger than she thought.

One day, Brenna decided to install security cameras in her house to monitor things from her work. When she watched the footage, she was speechless.

Brenna could watch in one of the footage how her cat comforts her anxious dog while she is not at home. Then, she realized that her kind cat did this all day and every day.

Kelvin shares the couch with Joule and they both keep each other company while they snuggle up sweetly.

Brenna was so touched by the friendship of her pets that she started sharing videos of them on her Instagram.

If Brenna had not installed the cameras, she would never have known how close their pets are. Because when she is at home, Joule wants to be just with her.

A curious fact is that Kelvin before being adopted was called “Socks” in the shelter, while Joule was called “Sandals.” From there you can notice that their friendship and connection has a higher level.
