Chihuahua Teacup Dog Forced To Have Puppies Is Rescued From Puppy Mill
When Claire Stokoe was scrolling through the news on Facebook, she never imagined that seeing a picture would change her life.
She put her attention on a special photo in which a tiny Chihuahua was standing next to a can of Heinz vegetables. The dog looked very helpless, scared and no bigger than the can.
The little Chihuahua stole the attention of Claire, who immediately contacted the rescue that posted the photo.
The rescue told Claire that the little Chihuahua is a teacup dog that was rescued from a puppy mill where she was forced to have puppies. Then, they added several more problems, like she had scars and even trouble opening her eyes in the light.
The life of the little one had not been easy, it seems that she had lived in darkness all the time.
Since the puppy is of a really small breed, she was malnourished. In addition, she gave birth two litters of puppies and, because of her size, she gone through two C-sections.
This is how Claire learned about the sad past of the tiny Chihuahua and despite that she decided to adopt her.

Once Claire went to pick up Brie, the Chihuahua, she realized that she was in worse shape than she imagined. Brie was very emaciated and sad.
Claire wondered if she really could help Brie and then realized that she could offer her love and comfort.
Then, Claire took Brie, who was in her little carry case, and took her home. There were the other 3 dogs of Claire, Bouddica, Dexter and Vesper, waiting to welcome Brie.
Immediately, Vesper took Brie as if she was her own puppy, she cleaned her and shared her food with her. From that moment Brie began to form a very close bond with everyone in her new home and thus she showed her true personality.
Brie is very playful and is learning to live in her new life of comfort and full of love. She still has some problems, but nothing so serious that the love of her family does not make her forget about. Brie is a fighter, without a doubt.
