Dog Dies Minutes After Owner Loses Eight-Year Cancer Battle
Loyal dog dies minutes after his beloved owner passed away.
Stuart Hutchison, from Alloa in Scotland, was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2011 and since then he had been dealing with a difficult battle.

Sadly, despite going through surgery and chemotherapy, 25-year-old Stuart died on August 11.
His mother reported that his beloved four-legged companion Nero, a French bulldog died only 15 minutes later.
Stuart fought 8 years against cancer, but in June he received devastating news. His cancer had spread to most of his brain, as well as to his bones and his pelvis. He continued fighting for his life, but did not succeed in stopping the spread of cancer.

So, Stuart decided to spend his last days comfortably at his mother’s house. He spent his last moments accompanied by his wife Danielle, his family and Nero.
The day Stuart passed away, the father of his wife noticed that Nero was strange, so he hurried to take him to the vet.

Veterinarians discovered that Nero had a rupture in his spine and, unfortunately, the little French bulldog died shortly after arriving at the animal hospital.
“Stuart died about 1:15 p.m. that day, and Nero died roughly 15 minutes later. He had three dogs, but he and Nero were like one man and his dog.” Stuart’s mother, Fiona Conagha, said “Nero was the dog which was always with him.”

Stuart had three dogs, but Nero was his special spoiled. They shared a very strong bond, so probably Nero’s disease at the last minute was just an excuse to be with his beloved owner.
Although the family had been preparing for the sad moment of separating from Stuart, it was hard for them. The loss of Nero left them still mostly sad.
Our sincere condolences for the family.
