Shelter PitBull Shows How Grateful He Is For Hug From Volunteer
This adorable PitBull is Walter. He was rescued by Fresno Humane Animal Services (FHAS.)
The two-year-old shelter PitBull shows in a cute way how grateful he was with one of the FHAS volunteers. Also, thanks to that he was able to find his happy ending.
In the video, Walter receives a hug from a longtime volunteer and has an unexpected reaction.
It turns out that volunteer Ron and his wife Kim were walking shelter dogs at an adoption event. Afterwards Ron petted Walter, and the sweet dog turned on his most adorable way.
Walter snuggled against the volunteer as he watched him with adoration.
Fortunately, for all of us, the shelter staff managed to capture the video of Walter’s reaction. They also posted the video and wrote:

- Lost PitBull Waited Years At Shelter For Her Family To Pick Her Up, But They Never Came
- PitBull Left At Shelter Because She Was ‘Too Nice’
“Enjoy this sweet moment we captured on video of Walter, the 2 year old velvet hippo, staring into our volunteer’s eyes with gratitude.”
After being in the shelter for two months, FHAS staff said his sweet friend was ready for adoption.
No doubt the silver PitBull is all love, so he soon get a couple’s attention. First, they took him to spend a day at their home to see how he would adapt, but everything went well.
The couple officially adopted Walter. They love him a lot and still share some funny moments of him with the shelter.
Watch the lovely Walter in the following video. He will melt your heart!
A little bigger than a golf ball!
