Trapped Puppies Survived After Deadly Avalanche
A hotel in Italy was buried by an avalanche leaving several people and a few puppies trapped.
Unfortunately, almost two dozen people went missing. But the rescue team was still looking for survivors at the Rigopiano Hotel.
These heroes did not lose their hopes, so they found three trapped puppies that survived the hit of the deadly avalanche.
For rescuers, finding the three Abruzzo sheepdog puppies was a sign of hope.
The puppies were found inside the destroyed hotel’s boiler room. Fortunately, they survived because of air pockets in the ruins. In addition, they were safe and sound.
Until that time, 14 people were confirmed dead, 11 survived and 15 were still missing. But finding the puppies bolstered the spirits of the firefighters.
One firefighter told Quotidiano that finding the puppies was “a little ray of sunshine”.
The parents of the three puppies (Cloud) and Lupo (Wolf) also miraculously survived the avalanche. They were swept away by the avalanche but managed to reach the nearby village of Villa Cupolidragged.
